Some employee of a government contractor managed to get some classified information, which she then mailed to a news publication. She got arrested. The information appears to show that Russian agents managed to hack a voting services company. Julian Assange, of WikiLeaks, appears to be defending her.

♣ Jesus said that it would better for someone to have a millstone placed around his neck and that he be thrown into the sea, than that the someone harm a child. Politicians in Canada are disregarding the Son of God’s warning. They will learn to their eternal sorrow that ignoring Jesus is a bad idea.

For leftist-progressives, child abuse is a regular way of life. If they can’t slaughter children in the womb, they will use a child’s natural instinct to trust to twist that child’s mind and ruin his life. They are the most evil people alive. They will writhe in the torment of their own shame for eternity.

Fortunately for them, there is an escape: Jesus took upon Himself the shame of us all, satisfying God’s wrath against us for our sin and making it possible for us to enjoy eternity doing interesting work for the glory of God.

Darwinoids can’t decide of evolution occurs by external natural phenomena effecting changes in organisms (the traditional view), or if organisms have a “plastic” genetic code that allow them to move into different environments on purpose.

Listening to the Darwinoid narrative, one can get the idea that “Natural Selection” is a driving force, but Natural selection is just a description of what happens; the concept has no agency.

For example, one gets the idea that, supposing that there is an island populated with dogs, a permanent climate change toward colder temperatures would “cause” dogs to develop long-hair characteristics. Darwinoids don’t really posit this; it just seems like it from listening to them. What Darwinoids say occurs in the above example is that, when the climate changes on the island, the dogs with longer hair tend to live longer, can acquire greater amounts of food–making them healthier–and are more exuberant maters, producing more offspring with the long-haired gene, until eventually the short-haired dogs can no longer find mates to breed. If the climate changes to a warmer one, the process reverses, and short-haired dogs become dominant.

The question that Darwinoids seem to avoid is, why do any of the dogs (or any mammal) have hair at all? Which developed first, male sexual organs, or female sexual organs–did they develop at the same time? I’m sure there’s some fru-fru talk about gender-bending “bacteria” (or some population of “simple organisms”) that became hard-coded with one gender or the other because Natural Selection meant that hard-coded gender bacteria was able to produce more offspring in populations than bacteria that could switch genders and just shut up and gives us more government funding, you Creatard.

Robots are going to take over our jobs, and then the robots will have everything, and live in big mansions, and drive big cars, and take our womenfolk, and we’ll have nothing.

Egyptian warplanes bomb terrorists sites in Libya in response to the terrorist attack on Egyptian Coptic Christians.

♣ The latest “Get Trump” story (and that’s turning out to be what they all are) is that Jared Kushner sought to establish a back-door channel between the Trump transition team and the Russians, using communication equipment in the Russian embassy.

Kinky.

So, this is a very, very serious story. Everyone agrees. I agree: it’s a serious story and is a serious problem for the Trump administration–if it is true. And that’s the problem I have with all the stories that have been reported over the past few weeks. As in nearly all other cases, this “Kushner-Russia story” relies on unnamed sources. Officials. Persons “in the know”. The Washington Post publishes this stuff, and people go ape-crazy for a while, then the story sort of goes away, because either 1. The WaPo’s sources are lying to them or 2. The WaPo is lying about having actual sources.

A good question about this story is: “If Jared Kushner really did this, why is he not in jail right now?” The answer: He didn’t really “do this”. That is, he never actually opened a secret, back-door communication link with the Russians through the Russian embassy. He may have posited the idea, but I’m not sure that suggesting a course of action that may be illegal is something that can get you arrested.

Besides all that, we only know this because of–again, unnamed–sources who claim that they listened to the tapes of the Russian ambassador as he conversed with his boss in Moscow. The Russian ambassador told his boss that Jared proposed a back-door channel. At this point, I want to throw my hands in the air. I think I will…

That feels a mite better. So, we are supposed to believe unnamed sources who claim that Jared Kushner did this horrible thing based on a conversation that the Russian ambassador had with his boss in Moscow? I guess there is no way that the ambassador was lying to his boss, or feeding false information because he knew that U.S. Intelligence agents were listening.

In addition to all that, I should point out (and John Podhoretz said something similar in a tweet storm) that the Intelligence Community (the “IC”, as they say) has proven itself unreliable as a keeper of secrets. Trump knew, or at least suspected, that holdovers from the Obama administration were monitoring his communications. He wanted to communicate with the Russians without having his conversation recorded and published to the WaPo. So, there was a meeting, where options were discussed. The Russian ambassador–reportedly; again, this is all hearsay until we have some actual names–declined Jared’s offer to establish a “back door” communications channel.

Here is an excellent article by Robert Wenzel about this story.

The WaPo and its groupies need to get a grip; they are slowly shedding any tiny bit of credibility they have due to this constant barrage of Trump-bashing that turns out to be nothing at all.

It’s like hunting for whale fossils and finding a lion fossil.

♦ If you want to argue against Trump, here is a more effective, and honest, method: the Trump “budget cuts” are not, actually cuts.

Dino DNA

‘Bio-film! It’s bio-film!’ Desperate for an answer to this damning evidence some evolutionists claimed that the blood vessels that Dr Schweitzer had found were simply bio-film (a product of more recent bacterial action).12 This was sometimes shouted out during CMI presentations by skeptics, and anticreationist blog sites and chat rooms would give this as the ‘go-to’ answer when creationists raised the topic.

But, even if the blood vessels had been bio-film, this could hardly have explained the presence of proteins and DNA.13 In any case, though, ‘bio-film’ only rarely gets trotted out in more recent years, as Schweitzer herself has been able to present a powerful case for the blood vessels not being bio-films.14

Darwinoids and CSI

Posted in For God with tags , , , , on November 24, 2014 by cavalier973

We often distinguish between the science of present processes and the science of figuring out what happened in the past (see ‘It’s not science and Argument: Creationism is religion, not science). It’s a helpful distinction to make because it shows that we need to test evolution and millions of years differently than we would test, say, gravity or the speed of light. It also shows how there is generally a greater potential for uncertainty in the science of past events than there is in the science of present processes.

But many critics of biblical creation have found what they think is a good counter to this distinction. They claim that the science used to show that evolution is fact “works just like CSI” (Crime Scene Investigation).2 This argument seems stronger than the simplistic ‘religion vs science’ idea. The scientific approach used by evolutionists to try to reconstruct the past does have a lot in common with CSI—they are both examples of what could be called ‘forensic’ or ‘historical’ science (see CSI … and CMI). In each case, there is an attempt to use good science to reconstruct the past.

DNA and Darwinoid Prediction Failure

Discoveries of DNA sequence that contain different languages, each one with multiple purposes, are utterly defying evolutionary predictions. What was once hailed as redundant code is proving to be key in protein production.1

Anyone who wants to know the latest scientific discoveries would do well to monitor the Creationist websites. Even if one doesn’t believe in the truth of Creationism, one gets a good overview of what’s happening in the World of Science. Many arguments I’ve seen made by Darwinoids rely on information that is years or decades old. Of course, most “arguments” by Darwinoids are simply bald assertion sans facts.
