Hyperion’s Wing Sauce

There’s a commenter over on Reason.com whose handle is “Hyperion”. He (or she, but I think it’s a he) posted his recipe for wing sauce. We tried it tonight, and it’s not bad; not bad at all.

• One cup Louisiana Hot Sauce
• A quarter stick of butter
• One Tablespoon of mustard
• One Teaspoon of vinegar

Mix it together and warm it in a pan, then pour over your cooked chicken wings (or cooked chicken tenders, if you want “boneless wings”).

Just make sure that you buy fresh celery; I tried to save time by buying a carton of the pre-cut celery, and discovered it had a cinnamon flavor to it.
