Dalrymple and Communism and Darwinism

Theodore Dalrymple in an interview describes the purpose of Communist Propaganda:

Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.

Sounds like a tactic of the Delusional Darwinoids, as well.

  1. It is astonishing that you don’t appreciate the irony of your own words. Anyone who tries to shame or embarrass or belittle someone rather than disagreeing intelligently is an evil communist… like those delusional darwinoids!

Yes, because in america evolution is never mocked or ridiculed or vilified by creationists…

  2. Hey! It’s my fan!

It’s not the “shaming, embarrassing, or belittling” that’s the main problem; it’s the legal requirement that one embrace a proposition or series of propositions that have little to no actual supporting observation science. Public Schools, by law, are required to teach children the “Molecules to Man” Evolutionary Hypothesis as True Science, and introduction of contrary evidence is strongly frowned upon.
