Riding the Chicago Loop

Found this interesting video on youtube.

I’m currently reading Chicago Ragtime, by Richard Lindberg.  It’s a look at the more seedy side of life in the city from 1880 through 1920.  Chicago, unfortunately, has apparently always been corrupt.  Astonishingly corrupt.  But fun-loving, I suppose.  He touches on the fascinating (if gruesome and horrifying) H.H. Holmes story, which is more fully developed in Devil in the White City by Erik Larson (a book I recommend).  I would like to visit Chicago, I think, someday.
